Man Food: Honey Tea Whiskey BLT
“Baby, I’m going to soak bacon in honey tea whiskey and make a sandwich with it.”
Oh how I love this man.
He let the bacon soak in the whiskey over night and then put it on the grill. We had to finish off the bacon in the oven because the flame wasn’t cooking it evenly, but it gave it a really nice char flavor to start.

The sweet whiskey flavor came out just enough to make it an extra special BLT.
Again: Bacon. Whiskey. (Kinda sexy right?) I love him. Need I say anything else?
Honey Tea Whiskey BLT
6-10 slices of bacon
White bread toasted
Sliced fresh tomato
American cheese (optional)
1 cup Honey Tea Whiskey (we used Red Stag by Jim Beam)
1. Soak your bacon in a tupperware container with your sweet tea whiskey over night in the fridge.
2. Grill bacon on skewers, or bake in the oven until cooked through. (We like ours crispy on a BLT).
3. Layer your toasted white bread with mayo, cheese, lettuce, tomato and bacon. Serve and be loved.
