Top Recipes to Beat the Heat

If you’ve been looking for a new post and kept seeing that same over the top Cheez-It recipe, I am so sorry! With just two weeks until the wedding, a bridal shower this weekend, an empty bank account, 100 degree weather, and an insane news cycle keeping me plenty busy at work … I have had no time to update the blog :(

I’ll be making some French macarons and a pink, ombre cake this weekend and I will definitely be able to share those with you. For now here are a few of my favorite summer recipes that will keep you out of a hot kitchen while we endure this heat wave (this is going away soon right?)

Strawberry and Avocado Salsa
This first one was actually just featured on the official South Beach Diet website! Check out the recipe here.

Broccoli Salad
This recipe has been passed down in my family for several generations and I just can’t get enough of it. You have to try it! Recipe here

Smoked Salmon Pizza
This cold pizza is good for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Recipe here

Tuna Avocado Ceviche
This is the ceviche of all ceviches. My absolute favorite. I want some right now! Recipe here

Try and stay cool! Pink cake and French macarons coming soon!

I like these simple salads. Thanks for sharing older posts. I have never seen them before, so this is all new to me!

Avocado and Strawberries? That’s a first for me… but looks heavenly all the same.

Come check out a fun giveaway I’m having!

I’ll have to try the Smoked Salmon pizza. I’m a huge fan of Bruegger’s Smoked Salmon bagel sandwiches, so I know I will love it.
